Welcome to the creek

This photo was taken a number of years ago when I lived on Bear Creek in Rochester, Minnesota. Seeing blue herons & eagles on the water inspired the setting for my first novel, Rise on Eagles' Wings. I'm back in Iowa, now. The Historic Valley Junction area of West Des Moines inspired the setting for numerous chapters.
